Kyiv, Ukraine | Visiting the Ukrainian Capital During War

I visited Kyiv, Ukraine for a few days, after finding a train ticket and deciding I would finally go to see this beautiful and historic city. I was fortunate that Kyiv itself was actually pretty safe on the days I was in there to make this video. Nevertheless, war is still going on. 1/5th of the country is still occupied by Russia. Cities closer to the front lines are being bombarded frequently and Kyiv still sometimes gets targeted. Air raid alerts are still a frequent part of life. Also just about every single person in Ukraine has a family member or friend fighting to defend their country right now, and many have lost loved ones to this protracted aggression that is being put upon their country. But my short time in Kyiv was nice, and I got to see both the history of the past, and a bit of the history currently being made there, all while having a nice time with a friend of mine from there, who showed me around a bit.
