NEW YORRRRKK ~~~ I FINALLY ARRIVED! So many people were actually very curious about how the Paulson dorms looked since it’s brand new sooo I tried to get this video up as quickly as I could. Moreover, everything in New York is so fascinating to me and I honestly enjoyed even just walking around the city by myself. I can sense a very dynamic and different four years heading my way and I’m (mostly) ready for it. Since this was more so an explanation video than reaction video, I don’t think I fully expressed my gratitude towards getting assigned in this dorm. I just wanted to reiterate that I’m incredibly lucky and I recognize that. Side note though, I experimented with a different editing style this time. Usually, I tr to sync my video to the BGM I’m using, but this time, I edited all the footage and then found the music to go along with it because I actually spoke enough that the music didn’t have to be the sole determinant of the pace!!! Nonetheless, the audio in this video is soooo inconsistent :((( I tried to improve it by running it through compressors and normalizers but in the end this was all that I could make of it…. It’s okay though, it’s all a learning process.
