The standard approach when painting watercolors is that of working from light to dark. However, I take great joy in bending and challenging rules. I've seen a number of great artists not follow this order and get wonderful results. In this tutorial, I explore if I can do so too. I am a regular urban sketcher, actively involved with Urbansketchers Mumbai chapter. I love sketching outdoors using a line and wash watercolor technique.
