Xray tube type Siemens Bi 150/30/101 R, rotating anode type, this tube is normally for 81kV and 125mA, made a few experiments, startet way too low only 6kV = nothing.. but ended with 20kV pulses, that worked perfectly to trig the geiger counter, i did not want to make powerfull xrays at home lab, better stay nice and safe, no need for more. Performed a few other experiments, filament off = no reaction on geiger counter when the high voltage was applied. I do not claim to be any type of xray expert. Please do not power up any types of xray tubes at home, please do not recreate the high voltage generator. it is however safe to watch this video, so that is what you should do. -- #xray #geiger #teardown --- I use auto generated subs, I go thru them my self, but i am far from perfect at finding all errors, so if you find errors worth fixing, please comment (or PM) with the TIME in the video you saw the error, i will be happy to fix it.
