Hot off the plane from Atlanta, we hit up Mother’s for breakfast. This place came highly recommended for their down home Southern cooking. They did not disappoint! Luke’s is famous for their Happy Hour raw oysters. At only 75 cents each ($2.25 reg), it’s a steal! Now that Popeyes Chicken says their chicken sandwiches are available nationwide, we just had to finally give them a go. No line and no wait, woot! Golden Chips makes some pretty close to authentic Belgium fries. A great mid-day snack. For dinner, we checked out the famous K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen. K-Paul, a celebrity chef knows Southern cooking. Did we mention they serve a blackened Prime ribeye?
