After weeks of speculation, and the launch of an internal BBC investigation, yesterday it was confirmed that Giovanni Pernice will not be returning to Strictly Come Dancing. But amid several claims of backstage bullying and abusive behaviour from former celebrity contestants, why was this allowed to continue for so long? And is this the beginning of the end for TV’s biggest show?
