A poorly done bevel looks worse than no bevel at all. No video will make you a pro overnight, you simply have to practice this a lot, but the tips I've provided will steer you in the right direction. Over the years, people have been a bit critical of my work area, saying that I should be using a laminated top, instead of particle board. The table is actually a mix of both laminated and particle board, (most of the laminate is off camera). I prefer the particle board because it grips the leather so much better. When you bevel, you're pushing downward AND forward. A laminated top will create extra challenges for you because your leather will be more likely to slide away from you, which means you'll have to push down more forcefully to compensate.
