The tempo is quarter note =118 I recorded a version of this solo a few years ago on a pad but here it is performed on a snare drum as part of a video collection of all the solos in the book. I am using Zebrawood sticks and a Pearl Philharmonic cast aluminum 14 x 6.5" Snare Drum with a Remo hazy diplomat batter head.
