(Accepted) Georgetown MiM - Video Essay

Transcript: Hi everyone, I am Aarya Rijal from Kathmandu, Nepal. I graduated from Union College in 2021. Having never left Nepal before that, meeting my classmates from all over the world was an eye-opening experience for me. It taught me about tolerance, acceptance, and inclusivity. And a lot of fun facts about a lot of different counties - for example, in Morocco, the best beach snack is the Tuna and Harissa Sandwich. Now, I am excited to continue contributing to and learning from my diverse cohort at the MiM program at Georgetown University, learning about your backgrounds, cultures, and what makes you your unique self. A value that I carry with me is giving back to my community, and people that know me would describe me as hardworking, inquisitive, and caring. It is with the same values that I will embark on my journey at Georgetown University. A fun fact about me is that I am gearing up to trek to Mt.Everest Base Camp in March and I hope to share all about my experiences with my cohort in August. Thank you!
