Woman keys Tesla in act of vandalism caught on camera

A mother and son came back to their car after a doctor’s appointment in Mission Valley and found deep scratches on the driver-side door. The brazen act of vandalism was recorded by cameras on the victim’s car. “She like goes into her trunk and she like gets her key out, and you can see, she comes around and that’s when she keys the car,” said the victim’s son, who didn’t want to be identified by name. The 2019 Tesla Model 3 was in a parking garage at the Kaiser Medical Center off Vandever Avenue while they were at a medical appointment. “We come out and we see the scratch on the whole side of the car and we were like, ‘What happened?’ I immediately noticed it from like far away and I knew that wasn’t there before,” said the victim’s son. “I immediately got into the car and checked the dash cam and that’s when I went over all the video.
