Lifts at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford

I expected that these lifts would be modernised as the most of the hospital has been revamped. But some Express lifts still remain. Busy hospital this. I didn't have a lot of time to film this, took a while to get an empty lift or an empty lift lobby. Most of the time was spend trying to appear natural whilst filming with the mobile phone near my waste! There are a few areas in this hospital. I start in the upper building - these have been modernised but still have the original large doors. Interesting switch marked 'cardiac arrest' - not quite sure how this affects the lift operation though. Suspect it calls a lift on a priority call. Second part of the video is with the central lifts. Two lifts have been modernised (not very poshly modernised though) whilst the others look like original Express lifts, but the control gear appears to be new. I can tell this because the internal floor indicator lamps do not behave like usual Express lifts do. Thirdly, after giving up on the idea of getting a lift to myself to film better, there are some hydraulic lifts towards the front of the building. These only serve three floors. Finally, I return to the central lifts where I finally get a lift car to myself!
