It tricked me! Dyson Airblade dB/AB14 at The Grafton (♿️ Level 1), Burleigh Street, Cambridge

Here we have one of the most boring hand dryers known to mankind, and that’s a Dyson DB. This dryer is so boring that I have nothing to say about it other than that it’s quite rare in white. This dryer tricked me, as when I first glanced at it, I thought it was a rare MK2, before I quickly came to the realisation that 20 had been written next to DB, presumably because it’s dryer number 20. The floor numbering here doesn’t make much sense. These toilets are in the extension in a tiny upstairs area, and they have their own lift and stairs to get up to it, and the lift calls it Level 1. Moving further down the centre into the older bit, there’s glass hydraulic lift that goes from ground, to Mezzanine, then non-stop to Level 8A. Why the lift goes straight up to Level 8 is very much beyond me, however Mezzanine is just centre management, and it’s virtually in-line with Level 1 in the new bit. The upper level in the middle of the centre is at a similar height to the previous two, however it’s called Level 4! Something else that’s very strange is that the lift up to these toilets is a Schindler 3300, yet all the lifts in the older bit were modernised in the same year this was installed by OTIS. The toilets on Level 4 had the amazing KFC toilet smell, however I didn’t bother filming because they just had more DBs. There was also a disabled toilet hidden down an exit corridor on the ground floor, however it was just yet another DB. This is the first place I’ve seen with automatic soap dispensers for quite a while, I’m guessing they are rarely installed because they require battery changes and cost more to buy. A RADAR key is required to access this toilet. Model Number: AB14 Serial Number: FT5-XD-HJA0905A Build Date: September 2016 (thanks ‪@Morgansliftadventures‬) Decibels (peak): 91.3 Recorded 15.02.23 If you enjoy the content I make, please consider subscribing - it would help the channel a lot! The decibel readings are not scientific or 100% accurate, they're simply to give you an idea of how loud the dryer is whilst using it.
