I'm getting a lot of comments, some I have had to delete as they are misinformed. The liquid metal goes on the die and the underside of the heat spreader, the die has no aluminium in it, and neither does the heat spreader as its plated copper. Now, the heat sink is made from aluminium, so that's why on top of the copper plated heat spreader, we put MX4 thermal paste because this makes contact with the heatsink, which is aluminium. So the CPU and GPU die have no aluminium. The heat spreader is made from plated copper, NOT aluminium. So this has no aluminium in it, and this is all the liquid metal makes contact with. So the conclusion is that it's perfectly safe and drops the consoles temperatures considerably.
