This will feature the August 2022 live performance of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra performing music from Mamoru Hosoda’s films. The tickets for the 5,000-seat concert were sold out immediately, and in response to the passionate requests of many fans who were unable to attend the one-night-only concert, it has been decided that the concert will be released in CD and digital format on July 26, 2023! On the Youtube channel of Studio CHIZU, official MV “Kito Kito - Dance of Your Nature” from “Wolf Children” is out. A total of 30 pieces were performed at the concert led by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Hirofumi Kurita. The performance also includes appearances by Masakatsu Takagi (composer for “Wolf Children” and “The Boy and the Beast”) on piano, the vocals of Hanako Oku (theme song for “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”), and Ann Sally (theme song for “Wolf Children”). “Garnet”,” What never changes” and “mother’s song” sung along with rich sound of the orchestra shone with charm. In addition, “Cradle of Myriad Stars” which is a song added lyrics to the incidental music from “Wolf Children” was shown off and entertained an audience with the unique charm.
