Happy birthday to me!! (from October) This cover is (2 months late) but one of my most favourite songs of all time from my favourite producer. When I was thinking about what song to sing for my birthday, I wanted to sing a song that meant a lot to me. When I heard Hanatan's cover, I instantly knew I wanted to share this ethereal experience of a song with my viewers as well. BUT GOSH DAMN I underestimated this song so much - this was the hardest song I've ever recorded in my life!! Genuinely a humbling experience... But I did my best and I'm somewhat okay with the results. I think it's a testament to how my singing has improved over the years. Never in my life did I think I could hit those high notes... When my mixer Niu told me how he was super proud of me and this was a mix he really enjoyed working on, it made me feel super happy too!! Jenn time tuned SO many layers beautifully!!
