Wisebuddah - Behind the scenes of our brand-new jingles for BBC Radio 2!

BBC Radio 2, the UK’s most listened to radio station, commissioned Wisebuddah to create its brand-new station sound package. The new package features a live orchestral session recorded at London’s AIR studios with the prestigious BBC Concert Orchestra. Wisebuddah worked in close collaboration with the network’s Pop Hub Station Sound team to create a package that is not only innovative and memorable, but also uses new singers never heard on a UK network. The bespoke package features a range of generic elements, crafted around mood-invoking sounds which range from party vibes to more chilled and relaxed feeling themes, in addition to several show specific themes for the station’s daytime output. "To be entrusted once again with helping to create the station sound of one of the world’s greatest radio stations is something that gives the whole Wisebuddah team great pride, and we are very excited to share the new sound with the millions of Radio 2 listeners. It was also a delight to have worked with such a talented group of musicians in the BBC Concert Orchestra.
