Back in the day, I used to fully rotate between jumps to cue a threadle. Then, I trained a verbal cue. But, for some reason my dog wasn’t giving me the line I wanted when I gave my verbal “in, in”. It wasn’t until I had a chat with my coach that I realized I was neglecting a important component that only appears on some threadles. Depending on the dog’s approach, the handler needs to adapt their cues to get a successful threadle. Take a look!
