⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇩🇪💥🎶 Prostate Scotland’s EURO 24 Anthem “We’re On Our Way” 🎶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇩🇪💥⚽️ Welcome! We hope you enjoy the “We’re On Our Way” (to Germany) music video. We created this campaign to get behind Scotland’s national team players heading to Germany, and to raise funds and awareness of our work. We were gifted this song by John Pryde, 47, a Hibbies fan and hair salon owner from South Queensferry. He was inspired to write an anthem song last summer when Scotland’s chances of qualifying for EURO 24 were looking good. When Alan McNeill, a consultant urologist and Prostate Scotland trustee was getting his regular haircut with John in January 2024, John shared a rough version of the song with Alan. It was from this point that the duo started working together to finalise the song and create this campaign. We put out a call to action to football fans across the country in May 2024 asking for funny and supportive video clips to help make this music video. It has been incredible seeing people coming together to create the clips – and feeling everyone’s excitement for Scotland playing in the championship! Just wow 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 The funds raised from “We’re On Our Way” will support the vital services we provide - helping men navigate prostate cancer, including our Prostate FFIT football exercise programme run in partnership with SPFL Trust through Scottish football clubs. That’s why our hope for this campaign, is not to be involved in an “official song-off for Scotland’s EURO anthem” – instead we want more men to be aware of their prostate, know what to look out for, seek help, and get an early diagnosis.
