I watched Evangelion and the Rebuilds this week and this song really stuck out to me. It really felt like something I would make, and in general the psychology segments made me personally think “this looks like something I’d make it ten years”. Really quite fun and I think it helped me get over a few of my more nagging issues. I had a moment where I was rather tired and sleep-deprived, in which I listened to the original and some of my more meditative music for about 30 minutes and closed my eyes. Felt like I went to another world and thus I decided I had to make this. I guess it’s so close to the original it got copyrighted… Technically also a cover of “Do you love me?” as well. It’s basically the same track just without the drum beat, so I decided to make this a version of both. Really wanted to capture the same meditative feeling this song and my other songs gave and give the best of both worlds. Footage is modified from The End of Evangelion.
