Check out Icelands Glacier Lagoon! Its about a 3ish hour drive from Vik but its worth it as you can stop at some of the worlds most impressive glaciers along the way. Diamond beach is also across the road where the current flows out taking pieces of Ice from the glaciers out to sea or deposit them back on to the beach. The waves then melt and polish the ice until it looks like a rough diamond. While it can sometimes get busy here there is plenty of parking and if you are around for lunch there is also foodtrucks! We then ended the day at Vik's Black Sand Beach, which has some interesting rock formations (if you are in to that kinda thing)!
