Turmeric is a natural way to create vivid yellow and orange dye for your textile and craft projects. If you don't have the root, you can also use the spice from your kitchen cupboard! Although turmeric is known as a fugitive color that easily fades, you will enjoy every single shade of yellow that it brings to you over time. Plus, turmeric is pH sensitive, so you can shift the color to a wonderful orange dye by simply adding baking soda.
