A Tale of Two Shows | Shadow and Bone Season 2 Review

Shadow and Bone is an engaging show. After Shadow and Bone's first season, I was extremely excited to find out where the story went from there as it seemed to have tremendous potential. And at times throughout its second season, it reaches that potential, showing glimpses of brilliance. Unfortunately, the other half of the time, it falls flat, leaving the viewer with whiplash due to the uneven quality of the show. Some of the storylines are fantastic while others are disappointing. It really feels like it is two shows crammed into one. Hopefully, moving into future seasons, the writers manage to give each storyline the space they need.
