2019 New Yamaha 40 HP 2 Stroke Power Tinny Review

Snag'd Ep. 13. I've just done a re-power of my 440 Apache Stessl from a Yamaha 30HP 2 Stroke to a 40HP 2 Stroke. The difference is amazing. The 30HP weighed in at 55kg, the new 40HP weighs in at 84kg. The power to weight ration is great on both but the 40HP has a lot more grunt. The 40 has 3 carbies and 3 cylinder where as the 30HP had only 1 carbie and 2 cylinders. The 40HP top speed (remembering I am still running in the motor) is 50km/h. The top speed in the 30HP was 40km/h. Flathead was caught using a Berkley Nuclear Chicken 5"and they work that well it was only the 3rd cast!
