Today I show you how to make the best vegan Sweet Potato Hash Browns (aka fritters) ever! These don't use any oil and are baked in the oven. Such a simple set and forget recipe! For 20% Discount USE CODE: COOK 20 Vegan Sweet Potato Hash Browns Recipe - 1 medium sweet potato (about 130g), grated - 2 tablespoons flax meal - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 2 tablespoons almond butter - Salt and pepper to taste (optional) 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F). 2. In a bowl, combine grated sweet potato, flax meal, garlic powder, turmeric powder, almond butter, and salt and pepper if desired. 3. Mix the ingredients well. For a firmer texture, refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes. 4. Shape the mixture into four fritters, resembling small burger patties. 5. Place the fritters on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. 6. Flip the fritters and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. 7. Allow the fritters to cool slightly before serving.
