What an exciting time! And second, this video shares ALL the things that I'm super obsessed with and use ALL the time as a first year medical student. I would say number 4 on the list is the MOST surprising thing that I didn't really realize I would need so often in med school. And overall, there honestly isn't all that much you need to go out and buy before medical school starts. I would suggest getting a few things you know you need, but then wait until after at least orientation week so you can see what your school provides and what else you may still need.
