Fully Working 3D Printed Enigma Cypher Machine Replica

This is a proof-of-concept video of a working 3d printed ENIGMA cypher machine replica. The machine was built using a Creality CR6 max printer. All other parts used (like aluminum or brass rods) are readily available in any hardware store. Wherever possible PCBs and standard electronic components were used in order to facilitate the design and make it more reliable. The rotor wiring is done entirely on the PCB, sa building a rotor is quite simple. The machine and all of its design files are a gift for my wife (who teaches Computer Science and has a special interest in cryptology), so it will primarily be used in an educational setting. This is also one of the reasons why the design files will not be made available. As mentioned above, the purpose of this video is not (only) to show off, but to prove that it is possible to build a working low-cost ENIGMA replica. Also some of the design changes and approaches might be adopted by other people working on similar projects.
