EN: The Finnish national operator VR was testing InterCity trains on the Ring Rail Line which connects Helsinki Airport to Helsinki City Center for the first time ever on 15th & 16th September, 2016. The aim was to test the interoperability of an IC-train consisting of doubledecker coaches and a class Sr2 locomotive in the tunnels of the Ring Rail Line. The test were carried out during night time after regular train services from around 0.00 until 4.00. The train setups were little different on the the two nights as you might have noticed on the video. FI: VR testasi ensimmäistä kertaa koskaan InterCity-junaa Kehäradalla kahtena yönä 15.9.- 16.9.2016. Koeajojen yhtenä tarkoituksena oli muun muassa kokeilla IC-kaluston yhteentoimivuutta Kehäradan jyrkkien mäkien ja mutkien kanssa. Koeajoja ajettiin läpi yön Tikkurilan ja Martinlaakson välillä klo 0.00-4.00 kokoonpanoilla: 15.9. Sr2 3228+Edfs+ERd+Edb+Edo 16.9. Sr2 3229+Ed+Edfs+ERd+Edb+Edo DE: Die Finnische Staatsbahnen "VR" hat InteCity-Züge in der Ringbahn, die das Stadtzentrum Helsinki und den Flughafen verbindet zum ersten Mal ausprobiert. Die Probefahrten haben in der Nacht von 15 & 16. September 2016 zwischen 0.00 Uhr und 4.00 Uhr stattgefunden. Die Züge bestehen ein Sr2 Lok und 4-5 Doppeldeckerwagen aus. Das Ziel der Probefahrten war die Interoperabilität mit der neuen Strecke zu testen.
