Well actually, I covered The Widow but it didn't work. It's a similar situation to Pearl Jam's Even Flow. The fretless bass is just not completely in tune which it makes it sound horrible when I record over it. I'm not saying that I'm playing 100% in tune, but the two separate fretless tracks at once make it sound very awkward. And that's not something I want to upload. So The Widow is also in my Patreon tab folder. Anyway, Inertiatic ESP! I didn't realize that Flea recorded this song. I watched some live videos and all the Mars Volta bassists played this up high and not around the 4th fret. You can also hear this in the tone as it is not super punchy.
