Ive been asked many times about this topic and it was about time I made this how-to-craft. This video will give you a quick overview on the steps of making a bridle. I've left out stitching and painting the backside of the bridle, because they seemed very obvious. I will compliment this video soon with another one. Im waiting for some decor to arrive before I can show your - Im going to show you the harness making too - and how to burn edges. WHY DO I PAINT THE BACKSIDE ? ≈ I do it because it is the cheaper and easier option than to burn to backside. It will stiffen the leather, and make it easier to clean, and make the leather underneath away from sweat. You should use acrylic hobby paint for this. I usually go with black or gold. I've also used red, which looked very cool. FINDING DECOR ≈ I use many different types of decor, some not meant for leather at all. I use upholstery nails, glass pearls, aluminium thread, rivets and real stones. I also use a lot from medieval stores and markets.
