Blog and website: www.skillcult.com/blog Instagram and Facebook @SkillCult looking at the Casein glue and wood shaving experiment. It looks really neat, but not sure how strong or durable it will be. The back of the opinel no. 8 is excellent for scraping sharpened to a 90 degree edge. Even the factory finish leaves the back of the knife suitable for scraping, but scraping could be improved by turning a bur on with a burnisher in the fashion of cabinet or card scrapers used in wood working.
