Named after a hope to "wet" people with its music, this rock band grabs influences from rock, garage rock, and even some blues to present songs that echo 80's rock legends, offering a rare auditory experience to today's listeners without trendy synthesizers or studio technologies. From their punky hairstyles to outfits straight out of the 1980s, Wetter displays its strong identity as a rock band with the hope of reviving the rock spirit in Korea where the genre's glory days have been said to be long gone. Despite their short experience in the industry, only a year and a half, Wetter has already secured their spot with a solid fanbase. They have taken part in the Jisan Valley Rock Festival, the Grand Mint Festival, and many other major music carnivals in Korea as well as the soundtrack of the web drama "Yellow." Slowly yet steadily, they are wetting the Korean music scene with their rock vibes. On this episode, the quartet performs "The Other Way," "Who," "You," "Lucy," "Romance in a Weird World," and "You and I, Us" to share their musical beliefs as well as their experiences as youngsters in their 20's. Tune in to I'm LIVE this week and let the four wet you! 웨터는 최원빈(보컬), 정지훈(베이스), 채지호(기타), 허진혁(드럼)으로 이루어진 4인조 밴드다. "우리의 음악으로 관객을 땀에 젖게 만들고 싶다"는 뜻을 가진 웨터는 2016년 11월 데뷔해 이제 2년도 채 되지 않은 신인 뮤지션이지만 짧은 시간 동안 눈에 띄는 성장세를 보이며 밴드씬의 호기심을 자극하는 존재로 자리 잡았다. 웨터의 음악에서 엿볼 수 있는 리드미컬하고 빈티지한 사운드는 80년대 록음악을 떠올리게 한다. 이런 음악에 스타일리시한 비주얼과 아트워크가 합쳐져 독특한 매력을 풍기는 웨터는 순식간에 마니아층을 형성했다. 이어 지산 밸리록 페스티벌, 그랜드 민트 페스티벌 등 국내 주요 페스티벌 라인업에 이름을 올린 웨터는 웹 드라마 [옐로우]의 OST에도 참여하며 점점 더 넓은 팬층을 사로잡고 있다.
