Sean McDonald talks with Rob Richardson jr and Mike Guillemette about shed hunting in NH Nh shed hunters club shed hunter’s pledge "The Shed Hunter's Pledge 2007 I will respect the animals and will not enter winter yards nor follow the animals when the snow is deep (Knee deep or greater) I will not harass the animals in any way, even in bare ground situations I will respect the land and the land owners. I will never enter posted land without permission, I will leave all gates as I found them. I will not block roads or gates. I will not leave any trash in the woods and will be safe with smoking materials I will respect other shed hunters and will not steal from them nor behave in any other underhanded or unethical manner If I arrive at a shed hunting location and a vehicle is already present I will go elsewhere for the day. If shed hunting with a dog I will never allow the dog to chase large game or any livestock and I will keep the dog out of the wintering/bedding areas until spring is well on it's way and the animals dispersed I will keep the dog on a leash from vehicle to start area and when returning to vehicle and not allow it to eliminate on people's yards or paths. I will carry a leash at all times and leash the dog when meeting people or other dogs and in the presence of livestock I understand that my behavior and attitude is a reflection on all shed hunters and will represent the sport well."
