This Arcane Warrior build is designed for your Warden, but if you have a respecialization mod you can respec Morrigan or Wynne and turn one of them into an Arcane Warrior if you want. Looted from the basement in the mage origin (you need Coercion to lie to Irving so you can keep it). Enchanter’s Staff: +1 magic, +10% spirit resistance, +5% cold, electricity, and fire damage. Wynne comes equipped with one, and you can buy one from the Quartermaster’s “other goods” in Ostagar, or from the Unscrupulous Merchant in Lothering. Torch of Embers OR Wintersbreath: purchased from The Wonders of Thedas in Denerim. They focus on fire and cold damage, respectively, and are good for your companions later. Archon Robes: +0.75 combat health regen, +3 armor, +2 spellpower. Looted from a blood mage in the Templar Quarters during the mages main quest. Tevinter Mage Robes: +1 combat mana regen, +4% spell resistance, +5 spellpower. Purchased from The Wonders of Thedas in Denerim. Vestments of the Seer: +9 willpower, +6 magic, +10 armor, +12% spell resistance. DLC item that’s a reward for completing the Witch Hunt DLC. =Arcane Warrior gear= Weapon and Shield BEST IN SLOT: Maric’s Blade + Cailan’s Shield (Set: Cailan’s Arms). Set bonus is +5 damage and +5 combat stamina regen. Looted from the Return to Ostagar DLC. Before you do Return to Ostagar: Spellweaver: +5 magic, +1 combat mana regen, +10% spell resistance, +3 electricity damage, 2 rune slots. Looted from the Cultist Overseer in the Mountainside Caverns during The Urn of Sacred Ashes. Starfang (longsword): +3 dexterity, +3 damage, +2.5 armor penetration, 3 rune slots. Crafted in the DLC area Soldier’s Peak. Eamon’s Shield: +6 defense, +25 stamina. Looted from the Redcliffe Castle vault in the upper floor. =Armor= BEST IN SLOT: Wade’s Superior Heavy Dragonscale Armor Set + Evon the Great’s Mail as a chestpiece. Wade’s original set: +70% fire resistance, +2 combat stamina regen, +25 stamina, and the set bonuses are +5 defense and -25% fatigue. Crafted by Wade in Denerim. Evon the Great’s Mail: +1 combat health regen, +6 armor, +10% chance to dodge, +1 stamina regen, +10 defense against missiles. Can be purchased from Herren in Denerim after 3 main quests. Before you get Wade’s set: Warden Commander Armor set: +1 armor, +0.5 combat stamina regen, +15% critical/backstab damage, +10 physical resistance, +50 stamina, +10% fire resistance, and set bonuses are -12% fatigue and +2 constitution. Looted from Sophia Dryden in the DLC area Soldier’s Peak. =Headgear= The Libertarian’s Cowl: +12 defense, +0.25 mana regen in combat. Looted from a charred corpse in the Templar Quarters during the mages main quest. Longrunner’s Cap: +0.5 stamina regen. Looted from Jarvia in the Carta Hideout, or found in Jammer’s box during the Jammer’s Stash questline in the Carta Hideout. Helm of Honnleath: +2 all attributes, +3 armor. Looted from the DLC area Honnleath. Contested item. =Accessories= Best belt = Andruil’s Blessing: +2 all attributes, +20% nature resistance, +1 combat mana regen, +1 stamina regen, +10 physical resistance. Purchased from the quartermaster in the circle tower. Very expensive (106 gold 2 silver) but it’s worth it. Second best belt = Cinch of Skillful Maneuvering: +1 all attributes, +10% spell resistance, +10% chance to dodge. DLC item that’s a reward for an achievement in the Witch Hunt DLC. Third belt = Destructionist’s Belt: +0.5 combat mana regen, +3 spellpower. Purchased from Ruck in Ortain Thaig in the Deep Roads. Two amulet options: Pearl of the Anointed: +1 all attributes. DLC item. Heart of Witherfang: +1 strength, +1 magic, +50% nature resistance. Looted from Witherfang if you kill the werewolves during the elves main quest. Rings: The Wicked Oath: +10% critical/backstab damage, +1 combat stamina regen, +1 armor penetration. DLC item. Key to the City: +2 all attributes, +4% spell resistance, +10% healing effects received. Quest reward for the secret quest in Orzammar called The Key to the City. Lifegiver: +10 constitution, +3 combat health regen, +10 exploration health regen, +3 armor, +20% healing effects received. Purchased from Garin in the Orzammar Commons for 87 gold 88 silver. The Lucky Stone: +1 all attributes. DLC item. =Runes= Use fire and lightning runes in your sword. 1 fire + 1 lightning, or 1 fire + 2 lightning.
