The D Kurd 13 is an extended version of the D Kurd Scale. On the bottom of the pan are three additional notes that give you the possibility to play the 6 complete triads in different variations. In general, this scale offers a wide range of possibilities for composition and improvisation and creates a magical soundscape with its mysterious and meditative sound. Over the last few years the D Kurd 10 has become the most widely used beginner scale and the D Kurd 13 offers a very easy transition from this scale.
