In this tutorial I will go over how to create line bodies or trusses in ANSYS DesignModeler as well as Surface Bodies. We will then go over creating manual contact regions between the truss and the platform or surface, creating the mesh, creating our fixed support and roller constraint (displacement), and finally the pressure load. We will analyze the stress results, deformation results, axial force, bending moment, shear-moment diagram, and reaction force results.
