How To Make Thin Crust Pizza Step-By-Step Video Tutorial ⏰Time Stamp⏰ 0:00 Intro 0:14 Tip 1 When stretching the pizza dough ball, don’t use 00 flour, use Rimacinata Semolina flour. 0:40 Tip 2 Remove excess semolina flour under the pizza dough as it will burn. Use a perforated metal peel to easily drop the excess flour. 1:05 Tip 3 Watch the pizza oven floor temperature. Keep it around 700F or lower. An infrared thermometer is a good tool to have around. 1:24 Tip 4 Adjust oven temperature for the pizza style you want to make. Neapolitan, New York style, and thin & crispy pizzas don’t require the same heat. 1:42 Tip 5 After 30 seconds, start turning the pizza with your turning peel. Keep turning the pizza and check the base from time to time. 2:18 Tip 6 If the bottom is charring too soon you can use the turning peel or a pizza peel to elevate it off the pizza oven floor during the remainder of the cook. 2:47 Tip 7 If you figure out that the pizza oven floor is too hot, lower the flame, wait 5 minutes, then cook the next pizza.
