Our playthrough of Trails Into Reverie nightmare difficulty continues! That's right ladies and gentlemen our journey through the Legend Of Heroes Trails Into Reverie isn't over just yet as there is one rather significant Daydream Episode left to see! The special white sealing stone daydreams are not like the original blue ones, these show us a quick glimpse or a teaser if you will of what will happen in the next Kiseki series Trails Through Daybreak! That's right we are going to see what Falcom has in store for the next Legend Of Heroes arc, boy oh boy are we in for a treat in Daybreak! The characters/lore/world building that we are already seeing of what is to happen in Calvard has been none other than astounding and could potentially lead to the darkest and most brutal entry into the Kiseki series ever! Finally Falcom seems to be taking the story to a far more serious direction, at least that's how these incredible white sealing stones are making it out to be. Beyond The Reverie series of narrative story books is nothing like i expected from the end of Trails Into Reverie but it has immediatly jumped in as some of the best moments of the entire game! In todays Daydreams Episode which is aptly called "Forward, Sword In Hand" we take on the role of Elaine Auclaire an up and coming A-Rank Bracer. Well at least that's how the bracer guild in the Republic Of Calvard would like it be, as they are in desperate need of someone to become the new "face" of the organisation. Who better to take up that role than someone with the skill and talent our dear Sara Valestein had at the same age, also being a girl of unrivaled beauty making her the perfect candidate and then some. However Elaine does not see herself worthy of this role just yet and sees no point in being rushed to the highest rank that can be given, at least for now her only role in life is to keep moving forward no matter how aimless that movement was. She also has a heavy heart as she misses those dear to her, knowing full well they've all chosen different paths to take. One such friend has returned after all this time only to join and engage in a rather shady enterprise, the complete opposite of what a heroic bracer is which only adds to the sorrow that lies within her. That's all i can say for now ladies and gentlemen without spoiling the best Daydream in Trails Into Reverie, one so dark and grim it has you wondering if this is still a Kiseki game. I wish i was being dramatic but reading out the events that happen when she attempts to rescue two children from an up and coming crime syndicate, honestly left me just as badly affected as her... So buckle up ladies and gentlemen as we see Elaine Auclaire the "Beauty Blade" as she attempts to decide who it is she really wants to be, whilst coming face to face with monsters beyond her comprehension. As she comes face to face with a foe so powerful and brutal it will leave her and us in total shock, could this be the main villain in Trails Through Daybreak? Or something far far worse.
