After dispatching the F14 jets and destroying the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Jonathan Archer, the Firefox jet reached its destination and was about to blow up the secret base when Airwolf intervened. The Firefox is a hypersonic jet equipped with advanced weaponry and capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 6.5 while Airwolf is a high tech superspy helicopter with armor shielding, advanced weaponry and thrusters capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 1.5.
