Take a walk with me through Chicago's "Little India" on Devon Avenue on a beautiful early Saturday afternoon. Part of West Ridge, Little India is an internationally diverse area along Devon Avenue, known for its Indian and Pakistani shops, eateries, and businesses. Store windows display jewelry, home goods, and mannequins dressed in sparkly saris. I take a walk from one side of "Little India" to the other and back on a beautiful early afternoon. There aren't many people to be seen this weekend due to the coronavirus.. Normally there would be people everywhere shopping and strolling up and down the sidewalks along Devon Avenue. When all the stores reopen soon, Devon Avenue will come back to life. The trip today is 0.7 miles and 13 minutes each way to complete. Enjoy, and Be Safe!!!
