He was left behind when his father was struggling to save his life. A Sikh family adopted him and his name was changed to Surjeet Singh. He brought up by that Sikh family like their own child. After the death of the couple Joginder Singh and Basant Kaur, Surjeet Singh had come to know that he is an adopted member of the family. Later on, his maternal uncle brought him to Pakistan. The story is more interesting than a movie. Through YouTube and personal dedication, Desi Infotainer is preserving the stories of those who experienced the violence of Partition and helping families to reconnect. We travel from village to village to collect these stories. we believe that there is a sea of forgotten tales which should be discovered.
