BIG4 BRIGHT, VICTORIA AUSTRALIA / CARAVAN PARK TOUR / CARAVAN, CAMPING & VANLIFE / VICTORIAN TOURISM

BIG4 BRIGHT, VICTORIA AUSTRALIA / CARAVAN PARK TOUR / CARAVAN, CAMPING & VAN LIFE / VICTORIAN TOURISM We booked and stayed at BIG4 Bright Victoria Australia recently. Adventure, relaxation, or both, Bright and surrounds have so much to offer and BIG4 Bright Holiday Park is the perfect place to base yourself. You will find privacy, beautifully landscaped gardens, modern facilities and within easy walking distance to all town facilities. They offer a variety of accommodation to suit all needs from luxury villas, cabins and studios to leafy, powered campsites. Facilities include undercover BBQ areas, camp kitchen, modern amenities and family bathrooms, large laundry, bike wash bay, playground, state-of-the-art SkyDeck Lounge, relax in the open-air lounge during the long summer days and warm yourself up in front of the fireplace during those cold winter days. Surrounded by the Alpine National Park and located by the beautiful Ovens River, Bright and surrounds offers a vast variety of experiences all year round for you to enjoy. Once our Converted Ford transit van was parked at BIG4 Bright we walked back into town and headed to Bright Brewery that was born in 2005 from a passion for well-made beer, a love for the town of Bright and its pristine alpine environment, and the adventurous outdoors lifestyle that the High Country provides. The brewery was founded by Scott Brandon, his late wife Fiona Reddaway and their friends David and Julia, driven by a desire to make beer great and to share Bright’s spectacular surroundings and the environment with everyone who passes through our town. Whilst at Bright, to walk off the beer from Bright Brewery, we took the Bright Canyon Walk. This family-friendly walk suits all ages and abilities. No bushwalking experience is required as it is on a formed track but there are a few obstacles, short steep hills and occasional steps. It is clearly signposted. Starting from Howitt Park head towards the Star Road bridge. The track on the northern bank of the Ovens River has steep steps and may be difficult for people with limited mobility. The track on the southern bank from Howitt Park to Canyon Lane is sealed and wheelchair friendly (Grade 1). For a longer loop, continue past the two suspension bridges to the railway bridge and return along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. Otherwise, cross either of the suspension bridges to create a short or long loop. The short loop is easy and accessible for prams. Interpretive signs highlight the local gold mining history of this area. This walk takes you past a small canyon carved by the Ovens River and water races dug by early miners. Keep an eye out for birdlife and wildflowers especially in spring. Grade: EasyDistance: 3kmTime: 1.5 hours, return We also did the Cherry Walk in Bright, Victoria. This lovely loop walk follows the Ovens River upstream from the Bright township, crossing two bridges - turning back at the second. Nice views over the river and passing the Memorial Arboretum. One of the days we walked to Apex Lookout Walk - Bright Victoria, Australia. Park at Quinn's Gap 1.5 km up Mt Porepunkah Road. Walk a short distance up the gravel vehicle track to the east until meeting the signposted Apex. That walk definitely made us hungry why in Bright, Victoria Australia. Whilst in Bright we visited two bakeries; Beechworth Bakery Bright and Gum Tree Pies. Both had very delicious food and good coffee. On the last day, we took a drive to Mount Beauty, Victoria. Mount Beauty is a small town in north-eastern Victoria, Australia. The town lies alongside the Kiewa River, at the junction of the Kiewa Valley Highway and Bogong High Plains Road in the Alpine Shire local government area. One of our favourite swimming spots in Bright was the Jenveys Swimming Hole, which is close to Bright Memorial Arboretum Walk. #Bright #BIG4Bright BRIGHT, VICTORIA AUSTRALIA TRAVELING VAN LIFE CAMPING AT BIG4 BRIGHT & AH YOUNGS FREE CAMPGROUND Link below    • BRIGHT, VICTORIA AUSTRALIA TRAVELING ...
