Living on an off grid island in Alaska comes with a lot of challenges. Hiring a landing craft to bring over large items like our Jeep and a 2500 gallon water tank is one of the ways we get things done here. This was our son's old Jeep and we thought we could get more value out of it here on the island rather than selling it in town. It's always nice to have a back up vehicle, incase our ATV breaks down. We want to expand our garden next year and this year we noticed that we go through a lot more water than we originally expected.
