Slovenia: Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bohinj & Ljubljana

We had an amazing time on Lake Bled and were so sad to leave. There are so many activities and wonderful things to do with the kids around the lake that you could truly spend an entire vacation there. Just keep in mind that parking is slim to none and very expensive. In this video, we hiked Vintgar Gorge, which was stunning, but the walk back along the trail was pretty strenuous. With the kids on our backs, we were exhausted by the time we got back to the car. Lake Bohinj was a fail. We drove around for what felt like forever and couldn't find anywhere to park to head over for a swim, so decided to move on to Ljubljana. We arrived in Ljubljana, where we only had a few evening hours that day to explore, but had a great time. Tivoli Park was beautiful and Isla had the best time at one of the best playgrounds we have seen. After the park, we headed into the center to try some Arabic/Lebanese food for the first time before turning in for the night. Tomorrow will be our only full day in Ljubljana and we are looking forward to exploring more.
