It's dog biscuits for breakfast again for Salty, and he's not too pleased about it. Maybe he'd be a better chef than Bertha with the help of Captain Bob's old recipe book; in fact, maybe he could use it to enter the restaurant business. Jenny will be the first customer, while Sam tells us all about the time he ate out in Paris. The Sludges, on the other hand, have a plate of their very own and can practise being waiters. The educational bit takes a look at the local fisheries, and I have to say it's surprisingly graphic, all things considered. Not for the squeamish, but it helps set up a fish market memory game and several seafood jokes, so it's all good fun in the end. Apart from for that poor plaice being gutted. Don't miss the Milkshake continuity before and after, plus a fair few ads from the subsequent break. (I really don't like those Uncanny Valley dolls one bit.) Can anyone help figure out when these episodes were broadcast, by the way? They carry the year 1999 at the end showing when they were made, and the studio is starting to look a little Christmassy, but if you've spotted any other clues with respect to the actual air dates, please let us all know in the comments.
