BUT there is no guarantee that things may happen the same way as I mentioned in the video. For now- Girl’s hostel-SBP Hall (now AC is working) Boys hostel-Azad/MMM/PDF Hall or someplace else Pros for boys’ hostel- Market, food spots, gym, sports facilities, night canteens, main gate and everything is nearby Campus feels alive Cons for boys’ hostel- No single room Nalanda complex is far I’ve mentioned the pros and cons for SBP hall in the video. 2.Markets-There is only one big market-TECH Market. Fruit shops, Utensils, Beds, Pillows, Groceries, Electrical appliances, Spectacles, Sweet Shop (End side), Food stalls (Right end side-opens in the evening), laundry, tailors – you name it. Almost everything is covered. It also has Jawed Habibs. 3.Class timings-2 hrs. For MANAC-the classes will be for 3 hours since it’s a 3-credit course. For other classes+MANAC, Breaks may/may not be provided-It depends on the faculty. But in general breaks are provided. 4.Routine-The routine may differ for Section B. MANAC is a 3-credit course but it is not theoretical. The only tip is to attend the classes regularly and do whatever happens in class. Your markings depend on these. Another TIP- Please study the basics of Excel beforehand and keep doing Spreadsheet modelling classes regularly. Just do the things at your room once even if you were absent. Ask the people who go regularly and practice the excel model yourself. You wont cry when the exams are nearby. Also, Excel is useful in case competitions and other subjects as well. So better get used to it. 5.About Case Studies- There are 2 types-One which are Harvard case studies used in classes. These are open to discussions with facts and figures provided. Second includes case competitions with just a problem statement. So that means the quiz may happen in the 1st/2nd/3rd week after that class. Going prepared is obviously your choice. Some professors mention the exact day and date of the quiz-no surprises. “End-sem apne aap manage ho jayega…” – Terms and conditions here. Please do study for this too. Do not leave the papers blank. Study some chapters, not all-if your mid-sems and assignment marks are good. 8.Another exam hack-Solve the questions which are taught in classes. Specially in finance classes. Those 1-2 big questions will get repeated with different values. Attend the last class for sure.
