Is the Tesla Model Y RWD any good at towing? I used a Model T Ford to find out!

Hi Guys. I filmed this test back in Feburary during a pretty warm day. I wanted to see how my Tesla Model Y RWD performed while towing at its max capacity. I was able to borrow a vintage 1926 Ford Model T and car trailer from my brother in law. He has an amazing collection of vintage cars and this one was the perfect weight for this test. The Model Y is not a heavy duty tow vehicle at 1588kg towing capacity but it will be suitable for a good percentage of people who tow box trailers, camper trailers or car trailers like I have done in this video. EVs are perfect towing vehicles performance wise as they have a lot of available torque and have a nice low centre of gravity which helps keep them pretty stable. The only downside is the increased consumption which you also have in an ICE vehicle but they are able to carry more energy in fuel, there is also an abundance of petrol stations. If you are towing along main routes between major cities then the only negative will be more charging stops. I have proven it can actually be done. Travelling remote while towing can also be done but would take some careful planning. *I have done my best to cover all of the specs and safety information for towing with my Tesla Model Y.
