This is an upcycling DIY video on how to turn a boring flannel shirt into an artsy tunic. In this episode, we take a thrifted flannel shirt and strategically bleach certain areas, where we will add appliques. We then sew lovely flower and whimsical bird appliques, that were cut from thrifted curtains, bed skirts and pillows. The icing on the cake is a romantic row of vintage lace and crochet that borders the bottom edge of the shirt, making it a trendy and flattering tunic length. This would be a fun project if you want to jazz up your wardrobe, or a wonderful piece to make and sell.
