"I've seen the future and I left it behind" My quick cover of Supernaut by Black Sabbath. I've had several requests for this song so I did this one after recording another video today. Black Zeppelin. Apparently Bonzo had an affinity for this song and went by the studio when they were recording to jam on it, which according to Bill Ward, derailed their recording session for a bit. 😂 Zep and Sabbath jammed on at least one other occasion as well, playing through some original riffs, bluesy stuff....Robert and Geezer even started to write something together. Ward thinks it wasn't recorded, but Iommi says it was. It's not known where the tapes are, but maybe someday they'll surface. Iommi said Zep actually wanted to have Sabbath on Swan Song but it never panned out. I can see why Bonzo liked this one, it's a hell of a riff/groove and it's got a lot of fast footwork! According to Ward, he was playing it with two bass drums, but Bonzo said "I'll play it with one!" The drum /percussion break is really a killer!
