Artist Panel Laddie John Dill Laddie John Dill, a Los Angeles artist, had his first solo exhibition in New York City with Illeanna Sonnabend Gallery in 1971. He was one of the first Los Angeles artists to exhibit “light and space” work in New York. He exhibited the “Light Sentences” and “Light Plains” in institutions across the United States and globally. Tony DeLap Tony DeLap was born in Oakland, CA in 1927. He lives and works in Orange County, CA. DeLap was a founding faculty member in the 1965 opening of the University of California at Irvine, where he taught in the Art Department until 1991. He is considered a pioneer artist of Abstractionism, Minimalism and Op Art on the West Coast. Moderator: Gisela Colon Gisela Colon is an American contemporary artist who has developed a unique vocabulary of “organic minimalism,” breathing life-like qualities into reductive forms. Colon’s oeuvre encompasses several distinct sculptural forms: Pods, Slabs, Monoliths, and Portals.
