This is the part 2 follow-up to the 2020 video "Is the Kawasaki KLX 230R a trail worth budget bike." Here we are one year later in our second year of riding to start the spring season. I am on my 2019 Husqvarna FE 250 and my son (dressed in red and white) is on the 2020 Kawasaki KLX 230R. My buddy, and gracious trail guide, RideWithMike962 is on his KTM 500. It's the first real ride of the season for me and Ethan. This is the second major test of the KLX 230R. We threw sand, water, slick rock, whoops and an over-the-handlebars crash into rock at it. As you'll see, we smashed the main ignition switch and had to do some trailside maintenance to get the bike to run, but run it did.
